If you were lucky enough to be at Gen Con this year, hopefully you managed to pick up a copy of the Arkham Advertiser, a real, printed edition of Arkham’s esteemed paper of record. The Gen Con edition’s front page featured “Grave Rumors” of some strange goings on in Arkham and serves as something of a narrative introduction to EDGE’s The Hungering Abyss roleplaying game starter set – in fact, you can even use it as an in-game prop to immerse your group deeper into the world of Arkham. If you missed it, you can download a digital copy from EDGE’s website.
Well, today, we can announce that Aconyte and EDGE have teamed up for another show giveaway edition of the Arkham Advertiser, which you’ll be able to pick up from PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia (from December 6-8), and Dragonmeet in London (November 30). Don’t worry, though – if you aren’t able to make it to either of these events, this new edition of the Arkham Advertiser will be available to download from EDGE’s site after the shows. You’ll just have to provide your own smell of fresh newsprint.
