Arkham

Historic Arkham broods on the upper banks of the Miskatonic River, its famed university delving into the world’s darkest, most ancient mysteries. More than anything, Arkham has garnered a reputation as a locus for oddity. Its citizens insist everything is normal in their sleepy town, but horrific and bizarre events occur with increasing frequency.

Dunwich

Off the Aylesbury pike, in the reclusive country town Dunwich, rolling hills hide decrepit farms and witch-haunted hollows. The town proper is sparse: no more than a handful of ramshackle buildings surrounded by farmland, rolling hills, and dense woods. It’s said the Old Ways are strong in Dunwich. Despite its shrinking size, its townsfolk still gather to celebrate festivals and rites used to mark the passing of the seasons, some of which have been passed down since the region’s farming tradition began, or mayhap even earlier…

Innsmouth

Past Cape Ann, the remote fishing village of Innsmouth rots from within. Despite the influx of wealth from the highly respected Marsh family, most of the townsfolk live in squalor, eking out a living as part of the town’s fishing fleet or toiling away at the Marsh Refinery, which mysteriously produces gold. Innsmouth’s citizenry are insular people with a distaste for outsiders, and those who try to visit may find themselves unwelcome by day’s end.

Kingsport

At the mouth of the Miskatonic River, mist-shrouded Kingsport lies dreaming. From Central Hill’s worm-ridden graveyard to the famed North Point Lighthouse and towering cliffs of Kingsport Head, there is much in Kingsport to discover, and even more past the threshold. But those who delve too far may find more nightmares than wonders.
