Dezmaethragel, or The Feaster at the End of Time, is a hideous-looking creature who was once a man. He was a sorcerer who, through dark magics, found a way to control time. Yet in doing so, he ended up trapping himself at the end of time.
From Man to Monster
He searched for a way back home but could not find one, despite his deep esoteric knowledge and mastery of magic. He has since spent untold eons alone, extending his life as he continues to search for an escape. This search and experimentation transformed him from a man into a mass of diseased, vein-covered, pulsating flesh with a human shape at its center. His skin is covered with mouths that move at random and drool. He consumes “time” with these many mouths in the vain attempt to keep himself alive long enough to finally break free of his prison. Tragically, his mind is so far gone that Dezmaethragel doesn’t truly remember why he still does what he does. He is condemned to act on base instincts and muscle memory.
Cults of Dezmaethragel
Cultists worship Dezmaethragel and make sacrifices to him in order to gain just a sliver his power over time. The Feaster will also casts “feelers” out through time, devouring people at random, causing them to cease to exist and be forgotten.
